One Demand?

The protectionist students group called Anti-Discrimination Student Movement steps up the protest that is now aiming to remove the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her cabinet. This demand was declared to be announced by Nahid Islam, an important planner of the rally in Central Shaheed Minar.

The movement will start a non co-operation movement from tomorrow after the Prime Minister tendered an invitation to a group of protesting students to Gono Bhaban to talk over lessening of occurrence of quota reform agitations, and the violence related to it.

This offer was done by the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina while she was meeting with the Peshajibi Somonnoy Parishad: Professionals Coordination Council. In this case, she said that she would like to interact with the students and this move indicated that she was ready to refrain from provoking the students. She also demands the released of the students who were detained and said that there would be a trial for each of the death in connection with anti-quota protest.

Also, the Prime Minister declared that the new universal pension scheme “Prottoy” for universities, autonomous and state-owned organizations has been suspended.
